Old Forge, NY – The award-winning Enchanted Forest Water Safari is New York’s Largest Water Theme Park with over 50 rides and attractions including 32 of the wettest and wildest heated water rides! Guests never run out of fun things to do because there’s something for everyone throughout the park, from water rides, to classic amusement rides, fun food, exciting games, storybook themed characters, a family circus show, barnyard and much more!  

Enchanted Forest Water Safari, will open its gates for the summer on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.  This year marks the 62nd anniversary of the park, located in the heart of the Adirondacks.  Popular water slides include the Shadow, Black River, Killermanjaro, Serengeti Surf Hill, and the Curse of the Silverback, to name a few.  Popular amusement dry rides include the Sky Ride, Carousel, Ferris Wheel and the Scrambler.

New this summer are 10 additional private cabana rentals! Private cabana rentals accommodate up to 8 guests. Daily rental includes table and chairs, lounge chairs, souvenir bucket with bottled water, and locker storage! There is also be the opportunity to upgrade your cabana rental with special add-ons!  Reservations for cabanas can be made online, over the phone or in person at the park.  Don’t wait, only sixteen available daily.

There are extra activities for the entire family at Enchanted Forest Water Safari this summer.  The 2016 family circus show will feature a variety of exciting acts that are sure to be family crowd pleasers!  The Hanneford Poema family circus will perform the flying trapeze, Russian swing, the famous Risley foot juggling act, Aerial Lyra and more.  The circus show is performed twice daily. The park’s moose mascot Walter Safari will be greeting guests all summer.

Admission to the park includes unlimited access to all rides, shows and attractions, all day, for one low price, including free parking.  Regular admission single-day passes are available for purchase at the gate or buy them ahead of time online at www.WaterSafari.com and get a $1 discount per ticket. Discount tickets can also be purchased from many businesses across Central New York.  Guests may take advantage of the Siesta Savings Pass, which grants an additional free single-day pass to those who enter the park any day, with any type of ticket, after 3 pm, (2 pm on days the park opens at 10 a.m.) If you’re going to come several times during the summer, purchase a Paul Bunyan Club Card, membership enables guests to return to the park as many times as they like for the remainder of the season for half price of regular admission.  For even more endless hours of fun all summer long, consider purchasing a season pass for the whole family.

Overnight guests to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari have even more options when it comes to Staying ‘N Playing.  Calypso’s Cove Family Fun Center, located right next door to Water Safari, offers affordable afternoon and evening family fun starting on June 25, featuring Go-Karts, Kiddie Go-Karts, Zipline, Bumper Boats, 18-Hole Miniature Golf, Rock Climbing Wall, Batting Cages, a State of the Art Arcade, Prize Redemption Center, and family friendly food such as pizza, jumbo wings and more. With something for everyone, an adventure to Calypso’s Cove is sure to be a memorable one.  Admission to the grounds is free, and each attraction requires one paid ticket.  Guests staying at the Old Forge Camping Resort or the Water’s Edge Inn can upgrade their reservation with discounted Calypso’s Cove attractions tickets or the discounted Family Fun Deal, which includes four attraction tickets, 40 tokens, one large cheese pizza and four 16 ounce fountain sodas.
