When can I apply?

  • Now! We are always accepting applications. Just go to the application page, fill it out and send it! It's easy!

What kind of jobs do you have?

  • There are a variety of jobs that Enchanted Forest Water Safari, Calypso's Cove, Water's Edge Inn & Old Forge Camping Resort have to offer. You may choose to work in the following departments: Admissions, Food Service, Games, Grounds Crew, Photographers, Ride Operators, Lifeguards, Reservations, Housekeeping, Catering Service and more. When and where are the interviews?

  • Interviews are conducted on an as-needed basis. Most interviews for first year front-line team members will take place in April and May, in Old Forge. You will receive a letter, email or telephone call from us requesting an interview after we receive and review your application. 

When can I start?

  • EFWS team members will start on opening day or as soon as they are available. High school aged team members will start in late June, with the possibility of some weekends in early June. WEI, CC & OFCR team members will start as needed.

How much will I get paid?

  • Rates of pay vary based on position.  Please contact us for specific information, or ask at your interview.

How will I get to work?

  • Walk or bike if you live close enough; if not, drive yourself or carpool! There are many team members who carpool daily, and schedules can be coordinated with team members who share rides. If you live in Lewis County, there is a bus to Old Forge for a small daily fee. Pickup locations include: Croghan, Lowville, Glenfield, Lyons Falls, Port Leyden, Boonville. If you live in Herkimer County, the County Youth Bureau provides a bus that makes stops in Herkimer, Middleville, Newport, and Poland. Ask about this during your interview.

How old do I have to be to apply?

  • You must be 14 years or older to apply for a job, and anyone under 18 years old must obtain their working papers from their school's guidance counselor. Most available positions require that you be 16 years or older, and there are positions that you must be at least 18 years old to apply. Lifeguards must be at least 15 years of age and hold current American Red Cross Certifications.

Do I need experience or can this be my first job? 

  • Yes this can be your first job. You do not need experience.  We have plenty of team members that start off here! 

What kind of paperwork do I need to have?

  • All team members must provide required supporting documents for the I-9 form. Team members under the age of 18 MUST provide valid working papers before they may begin working.  There is additonal paperwork that is required to be filled out and we will explain this process if you are hired.
